Deborah Dorward Weekend Workshop Two Day Workshop at Thread Botanica.

Renowned quilt maker, designer & author, Deborah has been quilting for over 30 years.  Her inspiration comes from her love of antique & folk art quilts.  She enjoys working with reproduction fabrics but also likes to include brighter prints.  Her designs include needle-turn applique, EPP and hand-quilting.

Deborah has just released her first fabric collection, Elephant & Castle, which is due to arrive at Thread Botanica in July 2026.

Students can work on any of Deborah's designs during the workshop. 

Bring hand sewing supplies and fabric from your stash. Patterns, notions & fabric kits will also be available in-store.

Date - Saturday 31st October & Sunday 1st November, 2026.

Teaching Cost - $285.00 for 2 day workshop. (Pattern and supplies are additional). 

(Workshop Includes morning tea and lunch. Please advise of any dietary requirements).   

Workshop Policy - Due to the commitment in hosting interstate teachers, please note that individual bookings can only be refunded if the position can be refilled (eg. from a reserve list). If cancellation of the class occurs by the teacher or store, bookings will be fully refunded.
