Margaret Mew

Two day workshop at Thread Botanica. 

Margaret Mew is a well-known and admired quilt designer, fabric designer and tutor.  She has spent many years studying antique quilts and fabrics from the 19th Century.  Her many quilts are made using reproduction fabrics, brought to life with beautiful raspberry, teal and golden yellows with eclectic backgrounds which embrace the fabrics they surround.

Her passions are hand piecing and hand applique, which are the techniques she enjoys teaching.
