Deborah Louie Workshop - Monthly Machine Skill Building - Commencing 12th April, 2024

Learn machine applique and machine quilting in this monthly machine skill building class. Deborah teaches both walking foot quilting and free motion quilting on your domestic machine, starting with the basics of quilting preparation.

Morning Session:

Machine Applique Skills, where there will be a different technique each month.  Learn perfect blind hem applique, beautiful machine blanket stitching, decorative stitch applique and sketch free motion applique.

Afternoon Session:

Domestic Machine Quilting Skills, where there will be a different technique each month.  Learn piecing tips for perfect machine quilting, the theory of walking foot quilting, ditch quilting, decorative stitch quilting and free motion quilting.

Work on any of Deborah's skill building projects with her guidance.  Deborah has a range of books and patterns which will be available for purchase in-store.

Deborah will help you with your own quilts or you can make any of her quilts.

Deborah is a Bernina Expert and can also teach you tips and tricks with your sewing machine.

Date - Commencing Friday, 12th April, 2024 (9.30am to 3.30pm). 

Following Dates - 31st May, 21st June, 19th July, 13th September, 18th October, 29th November 2024.

Teaching Cost - $90.00 per one day class.  (Supplies/books/patterns additional).

Includes morning tea and tea/coffee.  (Bring your own lunch or purchase lunch from one of the surrounding cafe's).
